The GreatPlanes Giant PT-19 ARF built stock per the plans with
a Hacker C50 12XL Geared 6.7-1 motor, Hacker Master 77 ESC, 5 Hitec HS-225BB servos,
Hitec super slim receiver, 20x13 APC-E prop, and 8S4P-1950 ThunderPower LiPoly batteries. This plane
flies great!
| The quality of this ARF was very good no sanding was require everything
fit together strait out of the box. |
 |
| This is everything strait out of the box the covering was
tight and no damage to any parts. |
 |
| This is a picture with the cowl removed. I cut a hole
through the firewall for cooling air and opened up the gas tank platform
for a battery shoot. The power system has been upgraded sense this
picture was taken. |
 |
| I cut a large hole in the bottom of the fuse to allow air to
exit and also allow me to install the servos. |
 |
| This plane comes with all the stickers you need to finish
the trim now if I can find a suitable pilot. |
 |
| In this picture you can see just how big this plane really
is. I am still amazed I can squeeze it in my firebird. |
 |
| This is a 12mb Video of the PT-19. With the new C50/LiPoly
power system this plane has unbelievable performance for 20+ minutes! |
 |
| This is an 8mb Video filmed at MWE2002. This is a
lighter and more traditional system that give better that scale like
performance. |
